The Reidsville All-Stars will compete this week in Fieldale, Va. at the Pony West Section Tournament. Play will be held at Jordan Creek Field. Reidsville will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, against the winner of the West Piedmont #2/Eden game, which starts at 6 p.m. Monday, July 12. The six-team double elimination tourney includes, in addition to Reidsville, West Piedmont #1 and #2, Eden, NW Triple Threat and Huntsville.

UPDATE: Reidsville is out of the tournament, losing to Huntsville 6-5 Thursday night and then losing to Eden 16-13 in eight innings of play. Congratulations to the Reidsville All-Stars for a great season!

UPDATE: Reidsville beat Eden 11-1 Tuesday night in its first matchup of the tournament. Eden had previously beat West Piedmont #2. Huntsville was playing West Piedmont #1 in the second matchup of the night, but no results are yet known from that game. Reidsville will play the West Piedmont #1/Huntsville winner at 6 p.m. Thursday.
