Wednesday's (May 5) Results

Rangers 2

     In a game that pitted two of the top teams in the Major division, the Pelicans scored early and often to grab a decisive victory over the home team Rangers.   

     The Pelicans were led by a homerun from both Hunter French and Angel Zarate while the Rangers were aided in their efforts by Clint Zellar’s double.

     In game two, the Direct Doors’ Phillies scraped and clawed but could not quite get over the hump. 

     The Brame Automotive D’Backs were paced by JohnBoy Williams’ two hits while Josh Johnson had two hits in a losing effort.

      In game one of Minor League action, Reidsville Nissan got down early but rallied for a comfortable win. 

     Will Stanley had three hits for the winners. 

     Jared Hutchins and Travis Presnell each had two hits for the Longhorns but it was not enough to overcome the seven run deficit.

     In the second game of the night in the Majors, the Rangers rallied in the bottom of the fifth for a one-run win. 

     Hayden Anderson led the Rangers with a double while Cody Ward, Dustin Parks, and Brandon Spencer each had two hits for the Reds.

Friday's (April 30) Results

     The Shapiro Eye Care Pelicans downed the Reds 5-1 in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Baseball game Friday at Lowes Park.

     In the other Ozone League game, the Rangers outslugged the Longhorns 17-9.

     Jay Zarate had three hits (HR) to lead the winners while Hunter French had two hits and Spencer Starr had one.

     Brandon Spencer (HR), Cody Ward, Andy Woodson, and Cameron Stanley had hits for the Reds.

     Zac Bullard (HR) and Gavin Taylor had four hits for the Rangers and Hayden Anderson, Jonathan Pulliam,  and Cody Carter had three. Adding two each were Clint Zellar and Carter Anderson while Jordan Richards had one.

     Ross Johnson had three hits for the Longhorns, Travis Presnell (HR), Nick Hall, and Jared Hutchins had two apiece and Noah Johnson, Jacob Vaughn, Brittain Huffstetler, Travis Carter, Grayson Cundiff, and Conner Underwood had one apiece.

Wednesday's (April 28) Results

     In Ozone games Wednesday night, the Reds outslugged Brame Automotive 14-9 and Reidsville Nissan whipped the Phillies 19-2.

     Ben Langley (HR, grand slam) had three hits for the Reds, Dustin Parks had two and Cody Ward, Brandon Spencer, and Dylan Denning had one apiece.

     Jordan Cross had two hits for Brame and Landon Warner, Dylan Plainte, and Jonathan Tomaro had one apiece.

     Will Stanley, Darion Hatton, Noel Hall, and James Duggins had two hits each for the Braves while Nicholas Richmond, Jarrett Barksdale, Zeb Murray, Cameron Paschal, Niegel Kelly, and Nicholas Shelton had one apiece.

     Josh Pennell and John Pruitt scored runs for the Phillies.

Monday's (April 26) Results

     In Ozone League play on Monday night, the Rangers edged the Phillies 7-5 and Reidsville Nissan knocked off Brame Automotive 13-4.

     Cody Hamlett had two hits for the Rangers and Dylan Dunn, Hayden Anderson, Zac Bullard, Carter Anderson, and Clint Zeller had one each.

     Nicholas Richmond had three hits for the Braves, Jarrett Barksdale, Darion Hatton, Noah Hall, and Zeb Murray had two each and Will Stanley, James Duggins, Cameron Paschal, DaRon Lane, and Nicholas Shelton had one apiece.

     Landon Warner and Jon-boy Williams had two hits each for Brame Auto and Sammy Murphy, Dylan Plainte, and Nick East had one apiece.

Friday's (April 23) Results

     Hayden Anderson drove in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift the Rangers to a dramatic 6-5 win over Reidsville Nissan in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Dixie Youth Baseball game Friday at Lowes Park.

     In the other Ozone League game, the Shapiro Eye Care Pelicans edged the Longhorns 8-6.

     Gavin Taylor’s homer tied the game leading off the sixth to set up Anderson’s game-winner with two outs.

     Clint Zeller and Zach Bullard had two hits each for the Rangers and Taylor, Anderson, Cody Carter, Jonathan Pulliam, Cody Hamlett, and Dylan Dunn had one apiece.

     Darrian Hatton had two hits for the Braves and Nicholas Richmond, Will Stanley, Hunter Blackburn, and Noah Hall had one apiece.

     The Shapiro Eye Care Pelicans downed the Brame Automotive Diamondbacks 9-5 in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Baseball game Wednesday at Lowes Park.

     In the other game, the Reds clubbed the Phillies 19-4.

     Ben Langley (HR) had four hits for the Reds, Brandon Spencer had two and Cody Ward, Dustin Parks, Matthew Denning, Andy Woodson, Gregrey Davis, Julian Foust, and Jordan Cliborne had one each.

     Josh Johnson had the only hit for the Phils.

Monday's (April 19) Results

     The Reds held on for an 8-6 win over the Longhorns in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Major League Baseball game Monday at Lowes Park.

     In the other game, the Rangers whipped Brame Automotive 15-4.

     The Rangers scored 10 runs in the fourth inning.

     Dylan Dunn, Cody Hamlett, Jonathan Pulliam, Cody Carter, Zach Bullard, and Carter Anderson had two hits each and Clint Zeller and Jordan Richards had one apiece.

     Sammy Murphy, Dylan Plainte, and Jon Boy Williams had hits for Brame.

Friday's (April 16) Results

     The Longhorns held off the Phillies 11-9 Friday night in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Baseball Major League game at Lowes Park.

In the other Major League game, Reidsville Nissan downed the Reds 11-5.

Wednesday's (April 14) Results

     The Reds knocked off the Rangers 6-4 in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Baseball Major League game Wednesday at Lowes Park.

     In the other Major League game, the Shapiro Eye Care Pelicans downed Reidsville Nissan 12-4.

     Dustin Parks went the distance to record the win on the mound for the Rangers.

     Parks had two hits offensively for the Reds and Brandon Spencer, Andy Woodson, and Gregrey Davis had one apiece.

Monday's (April 12) Results

     The Longhorns opened the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department’s Dixie Youth Baseball Major League season with an 8-7 win over Brame Automotive and the Shapiro Eye Care Pelicans blanked the Phillies 12-0.

     The Longhorns scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull out the season-opening win over Brame Automotive.

Travis Presnell’s single drove in the winning run.

     Presnell, Jacob Vaughn, Sam Thorn, Ross Johnson, Connor Underwood, and Jared Hutchins had one hit apiece for the Longhorns.

     Dylan Plainte (HR) had two hits for Brame while Nick East and Jordan Cross had one apiece.
